This is a mineral composed of oxygen and atoms, holding a yellow to brownish-yellow variety of quartz. This type of citrine is rare to find and is basically found in Madagascar, Brazil and Zambia. Its mineralogical composition is similar to the other varieties of quartz. Its yellow to brownish yellow coloration is because of a trace amount of iron in the citrine.
