Chrysoprase, nicknamed Australian Jade, is a green heterogeneity of chalcedony that contains mini traces of Nickel. Made up of a big amount of tiny crystals that are too small for the human eye to visualize. Much like quartz or sand, chrysoprase is a form of silica, but it is made individually by the deposits of nickel in the stone that provide it a unique green color. Occurs in many countries of the world such as Madagascar, India, Brazil, Russia, USA, Poland and Australia.
